Versailles is a town born from the will of King Louis XIV. The Palace is a symbol of the French monarchy, and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be astounded by the Hall of Mirrors, the park and the Gardens, the Petit and Grand Trianons. The entire estate covers 800 hectares. The Avenue de Paris, which leads to the castle, is known as the widest avenue in France !

Access by Airplane
If you are arriving from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Paris-Orly (ORY) airports, you can reach Versailles by public transport. If you prefer a taxi, the journey will take around 1 hour from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and 40 minutes from Paris-Orly, depending on traffic. Taxi ranks are located in front of the arrivals halls.

If you are arriving from Paris-Beauvais Airport (BVA), be sure to book your shuttle to Paris-Porte Maillot. From there, you can get to Versailles by public transport.

Access by Train
You can reach Paris by train from anywhere in France! And then you can take public transport from Paris to Versailles. 

Access by Car
Versailles is accessible by car from Paris and the surrounding area. Follow the N118 and A86 towards Versailles and you will be there in around 30 minutes. 

Versailles is also connected to the major road networks :

• From Lille: 2 hours
• From Nantes: 3 hours 35 minutes
• From Lyon: 5 hours
• From Bordeaux: 6h45

Please contact the organization team before July 2^nd if you need a parking slot at the conference venue. 

Access by Public Transport
From Central Paris: take RER line C towards Versailles Château Rive-Gauche. The duration may vary depending on your departure station. Allow around 30 minutes from the Eiffel Tower.

From Paris Montparnasse: take line N towards Rambouillet, Dreux, Mantes-la-Jolie or the TER towards Chartres. You can then get off at Versailles Chantiers. The journey takes between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the service. 

From Paris Saint Lazare: take line L or join it at La Défense. Make sure you take the direction "Versailles Rive-Droite" and get off at the terminus. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.

From La Défense: line U towards La Verrière will take you to Versailles Chantiers in 20 minutes.

ATTENTION: T+ tickets (it's metro tickets) are not valid in Versailles. We suggest you to buy a "Versailles Château Rive-Gauche" or "Versailles Chantiers" or "Versailles Rive Droite" ticket depending on the line you are using. 

If you prefer the bus: line 171 takes you from Pont de Sèvres in Boulogne-Billancourt to the Château de Versailles, its terminus.
