Dear colleagues,
It is with special pleasure that we announce that the next international conference of the European Network for Mental Health Service Evaluation (ENMESH) will be held in the city of
Versailles, France, on 4-6 July 2024, following an
associated French-speaking conference on 3 July.
At a time when mental health needs are high but care not always up to the challenge, building on users’ and professionals’ experiences is of utmost importance to improve the systems that care for mental health. The central theme of the conference,
“Evaluation in mental health services: everyone’s business”, will offer many opportunities to delve into these and other factors that shape mental health care services.
Special focus will be given to the four following topics:
(1)
users’ lived experiences,
(2)
child and adolescent mental health,
(3)
health system and interdisciplinary approaches to quality,
(4)
new frontiers for research and policy.
The scientific program includes keynote addresses by internationally recognized scholars as well as symposia, oral and poster presentations on the four sub-themes and other fields of mental health services research.
In addition, French-speaking sessions will be held, on 3 July, to open up the field to a wider audience.
The Versailles campus of the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin will host the conference. The campus is within walking distance from the world-famous Palace and city historical centre - where the welcome ceremony and gala dinner will take place - and just 15km away from Paris.
We look forward to welcoming you in Versailles for an exciting learning and sharing experience!
